More model informationThis vessel is an Ixcanrio Orange Polychrome pedestal bowl, dating to about AD 250 to 300. It was found with the primary individual in a crypt in the Upper Plaza at Chan Chich in Western Belize. The person was also buried with two Spondylus shell ear ornaments and a small serpentine diadem called a bib-helmet pendant. This type of artifact is commonly associated with rulership. Excavators also discovered the partial remains of two other individuals in the crypt.
