Medieval sculpture, Ciudad Real3D Model
Description: Medieval sculpture discovered in 2013 during restoration work at the Puerta de Toledo (Ciudad Real, Spain) (Toledo Gate 3D model: https://skfb.ly/6S6NI). The Toledo Gate was part of the walls that surrounded and protected the city in the Middle Ages. This sculpted head wears a crown, so it is interpreted that it could be a representation of the king, perhaps Alfonso X of Castile (1221-1284). GDH ID: Toledo Gate Head_3.
Methodology: Model created in RealityCapture from 207 images. Additional processing in Geomagic Wrap and Zbrush.
