Hi,everyone.I am a junior in China. This is my first time to participate in the competition of substance. It happens that the time of this competition is just during the Spring Festival in China. So, I decided to take the traditional Chinese Spring Festival culture as the title and put on new clothes for our meetmat2. All texture making, including rendering, is done by me independently in substance painter, and some alpha is processed through PS. Red and gold are auspicious symbols in China. The mouse pattern on the clothes represents the year of the rat this year. The traditional characters on the head mean to recruit money and treasure. The pocket is called “Li Shi”. In the Spring Festival, we will all receive “Lishi” from our elders, which contains some money, which is also a good blessing. I refer to the image of Chinese drum for the head making style. Because in some areas, drumming is also a blessing form of Spring Festival. However, I sincerely wish you all a happy new year and good luck.
