Meet MAT - "FutureMAT"

This is FutureMAT - my hero from early childhood, done for the Substance Painter “Meet MAT Contest 2017”

(and also for learning and improoving skills in Painter, of course)

I wanted to recreate some of my favorite heroes: Captain Future from the late 70´s / early 80´s movies and also his spaceship, the Comet. Now, this is rolled all into one, I guess.

Style-wise, I´d like it to look like a retro-vinyl action-figure from the 80´s with the body beeing made of some glossy, structured vinyl with rubber armour-parts (like some of the “He-man” figures had) on top of it. The body´s vinyl supposed to look like it was glossy and also like rubber coated, a tad softer type of vinyl (I hope you get what I mean)

The head (the Comet´s bow) is from another vinyl material, a more brittle one (as you may guessed from the harsh edge-wear)
