More model informationThis week’s challenge was “head gear”. I chose to model out the Cage of Mensis from FROM SOFTWARE’s Bloodborne. It’s not 100% accurate, but I’m happy with the outcome, especially the texturing. This is my first time successfully baking from a high-poly mesh to a low poly mesh, as well as actually using physics (active & passive constraints) in a model; I used it to let the links hang from the top of the cage. The UV for this model is enclosed in 1 map, at 2048x2048, with no overlaps. Scale is a bit out of whack, in hindsight I should’ve made sure the scale is appropriate.
