Both the interior and exterior of this National Historic Landmark property (also listed in the NRHP and an NYC Landmark) reflect its past as the home of the Tredwells, a wealthy merchant family. 2016 marks the 80th anniversary of the museum. The Merchant’s House Museum remains a unique time capsule, complete with the original possessions of the Tredwells.
