Model of Meriwether Monument in North Augusta, SC. The monument, erected in 1916, is dedicated to Thomas Meriwether, the lone white man to die in an 1876 incident known as the Hamburg Massacre. The events eventually saw members of a mob (including Meriwether) take up arms against servicemen in the South Carolina National Guard. At least six Black men were murdered. More information about this monument can found here (link forthcoming).
Model created in Agisoft Metashape from RAW photos from DJI Mini, further supplemented with JPEG photos taken via Pixel 6Pro of text of the monument to increase readability of the text compared to a model made with drone only images. There is variability in image quality. This has created the drastic shift in the appearence of the texture in the monument that is visibile above the text.
Working on further models with other edited changes to alter this.
Complete time to run this model in Agisoft was approximately 1.5hrs on an M1 MBP.
