More model informationAs a test of understanding I utilized the functions of translate, rotate, and scale on each primitive in object mode. Once in edit mode I tested subdividing, loop slide, and extruding on the cube and cone and dissolving faces to create unique designs. On the sphere I used the inset faces and used the more advanced select functions like the border, circle and edge ring selections. I also better used extrude region vs extrude individuals to varying effects.
I attempted to use the knife tool however the results were visually unappealing to me as I favored symmetry in my bizarre abstract shapes. I can see how it allows very specific detail adding but it didn’t have the effect I desired for this exercise.
