More model informationThis rare late Mesolithic bone harpoon head was found on a beach near the Golden Sands campsite at Gorton Farm, Back of Keppoch, Arisaig, Scotland. It was discovered in the early 1970s, but its significance has only recently been recognised and this artefact is now being recorded and processed by the Scottish Treasure Trove Unit.
