µCT scan of Mesosuchus browni generated at the museum of natural history Berlin using a Phoenix nanotom X-ray|s at 80 kV and 450 μA, generating 1440 projections with 1000 ms exposuretime per picture. Effective voxel size is 27.08 μm (Cu filter) and the data were visualized in VG Studio Max 2.1. This surface reconstruction contains the extracted surfaces of inner ear (yellow), pneumatic space in paroccipital process (light blue), carotid canal (dark blue), pneumatic space in basipterygoid process (red), stapes (purple), and true pneumatic sinus in the basal tubera (green). The original volume data are part of the publication Sobral & Müller (in press) and housted at MfN Berlin and can be requested via the following email adress: gabisobral@gmail.com.
