Messerschmitt 263 / Ju248 (low poly)3D Model
The Messerschmitt Me 263 Scholle (plaice) was a rocket-powered fighter aircraft developed from the Me 163 Komet towards the end of World War II. Three prototypes were built but never flown under their own power as the rapidly deteriorating military situation in Germany prevented the completion of the test program.
Junkers Ju-248: Since Messerschmitt’s development department was overloaded with new projects in the emergency fighter program, Junkers received the order. The new rocket fighter was aerodynamically redesigned in the fuselage and cockpit and, as intended, had a retractable landing gear, which was still rigidly designed to shorten the development and construction time for the first Ju 248 V1 prototype. The wings were adopted from the Me 163B with minor changes, the armament was mounted in the wing roots.
Made for a modding project for Hearts of Iron IV.
