Trench: MB005 Context: 2 Description: Flat metal with one curved end and on end that demonstrates evidence of breakage and a narrowing protrusion near the breakage point. The metal is slightly curved when viewed while lying in a flat position. Interpretation: The spreading part of an iron spreader knife (handle broken off). Three other non-nail metal artifacts found in same context; seventeen non-nail metal artifacts found in same trench.
