Meton: Moon Phase Calculator

“Meton” is a moon phase calculator based on the Metonic cycle of lunar phases. This 19-year cycle corresponds almost exactly to 235 lunar months. “Meton” replicates the synodic lunar cycles using gear ratios aligning with the principles of ancient Babylonian and Greek astronomy. This model is fully 3D-printable and will measure 9.4 × 12.8 × 12 mm. The mechanism will deviate by just one day over 220 years.
