Metope no. 173D Model
Description: Tropaeum Traiani Metope depicting a Roman legionnaire fighting two Dacians. He wears a helmet. The armour consists of scales in the form of sharp-edged sheets, with raised edges, and ends over the hip. He is wearing footwear (caligae). In his right hand, he has a sword with which he attacks. The Dacian below has his hair tied in a knot over his right temple and wears a beard long. The other adversary wears a cap, a frilled garment with long sleeves, open at the chest. He is holding a Falx. Antiquity (2nd AD). In the collection of Archaeological Museum of Adamclisi (Adamclisi, Romania). GDH ID: Panel 40. Catalog number: Metope no. 17.
Methodology: This model was created with an Artec Leo structured-light scanner and processed in Artec Studio 18. Additional processing in Geomagic Studio, InstantMeshes, and Blender.
