Metope no. 343D Model
Description: Tropaeum Traiani Metope depicting a Roman soldier fighting three barbarians. He has raised a long sword, defending himself with a shield. Wears chain mail armour. In the upper register, there is a slain Dacian, turned on its back, naked. In the lower register, the second Dacian is depicted with the Falx in both hands. The latter has a beard, wears a cap and wide, long trousers. A third character who is equipped like the second, appears to be retreating. Antiquity (2nd AD). In the collection of Archaeological Museum of Adamclisi (Adamclisi, Romania). GDH ID: Panel 40. Catalog number: Metope no. 34.
Methodology: This model was created with an Artec Leo structured-light scanner and processed in Artec Studio 18. Additional processing in Geomagic Studio, InstantMeshes, and Blender.
