Metope no. 393D Model
Description: Tropaeum Traiani Metope depicting four Roman soldiers, on two columns, on the march. All have their heads uncovered. They are dressed in a short-sleeved garment, girded at the waist, and wear short pants and footwear (caligae). On their shoulders, they all carry a spear (pilum) that appeared during the reign of Emperor Trajan. In front, close to the body, each has a shield. Antiquity (2nd AD). In the collection of Archaeological Museum of Adamclisi (Adamclisi, Romania). GDH ID: Panel 40. Catalog number: Metope no. 39.
Methodology: This model was created with an Artec Leo structured-light scanner and processed in Artec Studio 18. Additional processing in Geomagic Studio, InstantMeshes, and Blender.
