More model informationThis cemetry (MAHS-IDN-ACH-ABS-DIM-S-001) in Aceh, Indonesia contains 42 pairs of elaborately carved gravestones with Arabic inscriptions. The stones are examples of the ‘Batu Aceh’ tradition of funerary monuments, which flourished from the 16th-18th centuries. The main cluster of graves here was restored by Tim Balai Pelestarian Cagar Budaya Aceh in 2018.
