Micro Nut

A metal nut, just over 15mm, easily scanned with Artec Micro in just two scans. Unlike handheld scanners, Micro was able to scan this piece without the need for any additional features or background. The fine ridges, which are visible thanks to the Micro’s very high 3D resolution, were used to align the two sides of the nut.
