Mictlan Fans here is another preview of one of our most recent characters so you can see the level of details that goes into our video game production. This Character was inspired by a real-life historical account by a group of otomí tribe elite warriors called “Cuachicqueh” or also known as the bold hair warriors.
This was one of the most powerful warriors that even the Spaniards spoke on their history books as unbeatable, they were trained in the Kalmekak since an early age and brought up to be war machines, but instead of the conventional army warriors, they were profoundly spiritual and devoted to giving their life to the God of War “Huitzilopochtli”
In order to be on this rank, you would have to have captured 6 warriors for sacrificial offering and have won numerous other battles, to be this high rank in the elite.
One of the very distinctive features was the way they painted their face Half Blue and Half Yellow or Red I which they used to call “Ixtlan Tlaantic” or also known as “Chichimecatl”
