Outcrop near Middleton Bank Top, S of Middleton, nr Morpeth, Northumberland.
The motifs seen here, sit on the same exposed area of outcrop and a few feet from ‘Middleton Bank Top 1b’. They were first noted during NADRAP recording and were added to ERA as ‘Middleton Bank Top N1b’ in 2008. The NADRAP describes:
‘This motif is located on the same large, sloping outcrop as MBT 1b. Lower then the cruciform group of cups it comprises two faint cups with rings and a faint linking groove.’
