More model informationMikkaglaciären in Sarek, Sweden,
The Sarek massif inhibits a large amount of glaciers, including Mikkaglaciären that forms around Sarektjåkkå, Sweden’s second highest mountain. The glacier has been studied since late 1800s, and has many unsolved mysteries. One of these are found in the glacier forefield, where multiple front moraines can be seen. This would suggest either a very dynamic response to climate change, or are the works of internal dynamics.
