The original WW2 marked and dated M-1942 Aluminum canteen with cap. The Model 1942 had a horizontal seam and was perfect for holding the cup securely. Canteen is constructed of aluminum and complete with the black cap. No cups or covers, this is just the bottle, cap and chain.
