Minebea P9 (Japanese Licence P220)

SIG P220 9mm, but it’s Japanese. The Minebea P9 (or simply known as 9mm Pistol, 9mm拳銃 in Japan) was introduced in the early 1980s and is a direct copy of the Swiss SIG Pistole 75, featuring an European style heel magazine release. The P9 was introduced around the same time the US Military was looking for a 9mm Handgun, to replace the M1911A1, since Japanese soldiers were finding it hard to handle the .45 ACP round.

Production Period: 6th July 2024 - 12th July 2024. Modelled in Blender, Textured in Substance Painter.
