Minecraft Idea: Display Shelves and Dyed Books!

Here’s a little idea I had for Minecraft… Introducing… Dyed Books, Redstone Infused Books, and the Display Shelves!

Display Shelves: Each Display Shelf is half a block wide and is separated into 2 vertical halves. Each half can hold either 1 item or 3 books (6 books or 2 items total!)

Dyed Books: When signing a written book, the player will have the option to dye it permanently. Hovering over a book withing a Display Shelf will display the title and author of the book. Right clicking on the book will display the written content within without adding the book to the player’s inventory.

Redstone Infused Books: Alternative to dyeing, the player could sign the written book using redstone, thus creating a Redstone Infused Book. When the book is activated within the Display Shelf, the block emits a long duration redstone current. Depending on how many Infused Redstone Books are in the adjacent Display Shelves, the redstone output power from the activated Display Shelf will either raise or lower.
