From King Minos’ greed the Minotaur was born. Half Human, half bull, it was born an abomination, and a curse upon King Minos. It was exiled into the labyrinth where it spent it’s days wandering and devouring any who were unfortunate enough to get lost in the labyrinth.
There are many interpretations of how the Minotaur looked. Some say it was more beast than man, some say it was more human. I like to think the Minotaur is a delicate balance of both, and as part of the curse it holds the flaws of humans and bulls. It maintains the ferocity of a beast, and the appetite of an animal, but it’s greed knows no bounds. Much like King Minos, the Minotaur is obsessed with gold and golden objects, so much so that it may spare a life if it means getting a new golden treasure. The pieces of equipment you see on the Minotaur are the results of scavenging and stealing for years in the labyrinth.
