Under the bonnet of my old 1999 Mitsubishi Challenger 2.5 Turbo Diesel. I think it was essentially a rebadged and imported Shogun Sport. Took the scan whilst fiddling about under the bonnet before recently selling the vehicle. Yes, there is tape holding the bumper trim on.

Ran this as a test for new techinques to deal with complex and reflective scenes. Pretty happy with how the mesh and the texture came out in the end, especially on the air filter piping, wiring looms etc. Still a lot of room for simplification, any tips let me know. Ended up with this after much mucking around in CloudCompare and Blender, images initially aligned with Metashape. I’ve already forgotten the exact workflow as it got very convoluted…
