Model 91 - Leopard Catshark

3D Model

This is a three-dimensional animation of an adult female Leopard Catshark (Poroderma pantherinum) created in collaboration with the Save Our Seas Foundation. The 3D model was constructed as a composite adult female specimen from various open-access images and images and video provided by saveourseas (www.sharkcentre.com).

CG artist Johnson Martin used the images, video and morphometric data to reconstruct this model and the movement, with assistance from Josh Medina, Braedon Fedderson and Emma Hsiao. Funding for this project was provided by the Save Our Seas Foundation. We thank Clova Mabin and James Lea for working with us on this project.
