More model informationThis is the clay model of the Trypillian house. It originates from the Sushkivka settlement (Central Ukraine) and is attributed back to СI phase, app. 3600—3200 BCE. It is extermely rare when such models contain an oven. All in all they are more or less accurate representations of the Trypillian houses we are excavating in Ukraine to these days.
Artefact is stored in the National Museum of the History of Ukraine.
The model was digitized in the course of the project “Preserving Ukrainian Legacy,” supported by the US Embassy in Ukraine (Kyiv) and the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation. It is a joint ownership of National Museum of History of Ukraine, non-profit organization “CyArk” and NGO “Scientific Research Lab “Archaic”.
