MODELING WEEK 2 - ACTIVITY 6
I started making this car model above, but I’m just too lazy to finish it. Maybe you can help me out. See if you can complete this car model for me using the face filling process (select two or more edges around a hole and press F to add a new face in the gap). I tend to build cars by making face strips for each of the three profiles of the car (top, side, front), tweaking them a bit until they look about right and then I begin the process of connecting the strips together as closely as I can.
I’ve already set up mirroring for this car body object, so you only have to worry about modeling one side of the car.
When you’re done, the car should be made up of mostly quads with a few triangular faces. Watch out for the wheel wells. Those can be tricky.
If you’re feeling fancy, you may want to try to adding loop cuts, bevels, and vertex merges.
