Modified D&D Mini: Zarina Illumorga

Scan+touchup of a heavily modified D&D miniature; I don’t remember the source of the original. My additions were the hair, ears, sword, & scabbard, as well as a major reduction of the bust since this character is a child.

Character Bio: The underground realm of the Dark-Elves is a downright sucky place, a matriarchal & RUTHLESS society; Zarina was never allowed to bond with her slavelike father, effectively abandoned by her singleminded-warrior mother, & was then sold a number of times because she was SUCH a sassy handful—and alas, a naturally-gifted Rogue, a dangerous one when self-defense was required. The last party to purchase her transported her aboveground & intended to hunt her for sport. However, Zarina was saved by a mysterious winged Drow (Anulo Ra’a) who struck from the open sky like lightning. Alive but alone, Zarina follows the Aasimar Dr. Beaufort Asterius hoping he’ll lead her to the angelic Drow, whom Zarina wishes to become a student of—but ends up “big sis” to Beaufort’s Tiefling orphanage!
