More model informationThe Molander site is a public historic park managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. In 2017 PaleoCultural Research Group volunteers in association with the University of Arkansas and University of Texas at Dallas began mapping the site to plan for future excavations. This model is the result of a UAV survey conducted in 2017 to provide a basemap for the geophysical investigations. The site was mowed for the survey and the ditches and palisade walls are visible around the site. Additionally, there are several round earthlodge depressions visible especially to the north near the steep drainage.
