Molécula was the first Spanish cartoon serie made for TVE (Spanish Television). Molécula is a scientific boy, who is always accompanied by his little cat Bolita. It was created in 1968 and consisted of 13 six-minute episodes, which were broadcast within the children’s program Carrusel del Domingo, presented by actor Manuel Dicenta. The character was created by Cruz Delgado in 1960.
