PM.AUG 0102 - The gentleman seated at his desk dedicates a letter to an “Excellency…”, as the faded inscription reveals. The model is inspired by a Meissen model by Johann Joachim Kaendler of c. 1742. Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, Vienna. Hard paste porcelain, overglaze colors, gilding; H. 15 cm; 1744/1749.
