Monte Albán, Ballcourt / Juego de Pelota

This “I” shaped ballcourt is located just off the northeast corner of the main plaza. There are four built viewing areas on each side. The playing alley (~5 meters wide) runs north-south down the middle of the ballcourt and the lateral structures border the playing alley on the east and west. End to end, this ballcourt measures ~40 meters long.
