This family sibling plot is for Karl, Hallock, and Florence Moseley. Karl and Hallock are the sons of Charles Scott Moseley with Julia Daniels Moseley, and Florence is their half-sister and Julia Daniels Moseley’s step-daughter. Karl was a talented artist whose works depicting Florida scenes often including African American life in Tampa and were displayed in a WPA Federal Arts project at galleries around Florida. Hallock was a Navy and later Merchant Marine engineer during the WWI and post-war era traveling around the world during his time in the military. Florence, known as Frindy, was the family historian and keeper of archives, importantly saving Julia Daniels writings and letters when a fire destroyed their original family homestead. The Moseley Homestead site c. 1886, was listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places in 1985 and is a landmarked historic site in Hillsborough County. The family is buried at the historic Limona Cemetery in Brandon, Florida.
