Mosquito (I’ll make an animation soon) The common mosquito (Culex pipiens) is a species of blood-sucking mosquito.

Description: Body length: 3 to 7 mm Wings: narrow, transparent, covered with scales Long legs

Distinguishing feature: both pairs of wings flap simultaneously in flight at a rate of approximately 1,000 beats per second, creating a distinctive “mosquito squeak.”
