Mottisfont Cellarium Trench

A small investigation trench inserted into floor of cellarium against medieval stone pillar (east wall) to right of door to garden when looking out.

Trench revealed two unknown service pipes in ceramic and plastic that had been cut into a possible brick floor surface 120mm below current floor level. Size of hole and services prevented excavating down to try and locate medieval floor surface.
