Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church is the first recorded and oldest continuously active African-American congregation in the 15 mile stretch of communities west of Philadelphia known as the Main Line. The cemetery is home to 19 named and one unknown United States Colored Troops from the American Civil War.
