Mud and silt-sized sedimentary particles. The larger clasts consist of tightly-packed mud and silt-sized particles as a result of cohesive forces between individual grains. The shells are fossil gastropods (snails) and bivalves (clams).
The sample was collected from Kings Creek, Clifton region, Darling Downs, southeast Queensland, Australia, and are around 100 thousand years old.
