Mugdrum Cross, Newburgh, Fife.

Located in woodland about 330 metres southwest of Mugdrum House.

The head and arms of the cross have long broken off leaving just the shaft which stands 3.36 metres above the cross base. The sandstone shaft is heavily eroded particularly on the west side where no decoration survives. The upper panels on the east side of the cross feature horses with riders. The lower panel shows a hunting scene with hounds on the right and fallen deer (stags) on the left.

Mugdrum cross is thought to date from 9th-10th century.
