Following aspects of the ‘Multipurpose Wrench’ has made it a very useful and beneficial multifunctional tool: • Capability of performing loosening and tightening operation of various sizes of nuts and bolts and different types of screws • Storage of multiple screwdriver heads inside the folded handle of the adjustable wrench reducing tool handling time and effort in tool changing • Design of expandable handle allowing magnification of force (almost double) at the output end during operation The design of this product has the following contributions to the advancement in state of art in 3D printing: • Simple adaptive design of adjustable wrench with multiple functionality, suitable material selection and simulation based structural analysis has made it highly preferable to be manufactured • Folded design of wrench handle makes it feasible to be manufactured within the dimensional constraint of 3D printing • Lower amount of material requirement resulting in commercial benefit
