The Murrili meteorite fell in South Australia, south of Lake Eyre, in November of 2015, where the fall was recorded by the Desert Fireball Network camera observatory. It was recovered on 31st December 2015 following a search and recovery effort permitted and supported by the Arabana people, who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the meteorite fell. This rock is classified as an H5 ordinary chondrite, and was originally heart-shaped when recovered. This is the third meteorite to be recovered using the Australia Desert Fireball camera network. Murrili is on loan from the SA Museum. Photogrammetric 3D Reconstruction by Andrew Woods, Curtin HIVE - with support and equipment from Gregor MacFarlane, Lucy Forman, Paul Bourke - for the Curtin Space Science Technology Centre and Desert Fireball Network.
