Mutant Fruit Fly

3D Model

This is the head of a fruit fly. The model was made by taking several dozen pictures of the fly in a scanning electron microscope and then using Agisoft Photoscan Pro to render the 3D model. We call this technique “SEM Photogrammetry”.
