She was a British cargo chip owned by Harland & Wolff Ltd., Belfast and Glasgow. On November 22nd 1986, while en route from Seven Islands, Quebec to the River Clyde, the MV Kowloon Bridge ran aground on the Stagg Rocks during a gale after losing steerage.
