Description

Mi-30D is a Russian tiltrotor transport aircraft variant designed in 1991 featuring medium payload capacity and advanced VTOL capabilities. This configuration incorporates two TV7-117 turboshaft engines, tilt-rotor design enabling vertical takeoff and horizontal flight transitions, and 2.5-ton cargo capacity with passenger capacity for 11 people. The aircraft features 13-ton maximum takeoff weight, 500-600 km/h cruising speed, and 800-kilometer range designed to replace Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters with superior speed and efficiency for military transport operations combining helicopter versatility with fixed-wing aircraft speed.
