More model information

The Type 99 was an adaption of the earlier Type 96 into Japan’s new 7.7mm cartridge along with a few aditional tweaks, most notably an increase in fire-rate and the removal of a cartidge oiler. These light machine-guns served the Japanese Imperial Army during WW2 and were well regarded for thair reliability and accuracy. Fans of WW2 era small-arms will notice visual similarities between the Nambu and the BREN or ZB26 family of weapons, upon which they were based, albeit redesigned with a few of Nambu’s favorite design quirks, such as an external hammer-like ejector.

The materials still need a bit of work but overall this model would be passable for a video game and could be animated if desired, just remember to credit me if you use it ;)
