More model informationNarmer Mace Head in the collections of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford University, England. The Narmer Mace Head was discovered by Quibell and Green in a deposit of ritual items in a temple at the site of Hierakonpois, Egypt.
This scan was created from 90 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T5i, 18 MP) using Agisoft Photoscan 1.4.3. The images were taken in January 2018 through the exhibit case at the Ashmolean Museum. The base of the mace head has been recreated as the original was not visible because of the exhibit mount.
