Natural bitumen "source" in Kurdish mountains

This 3D-model documents a natural bitumen source in the kurdish mountains. The bitumen - also known as asphalt or naphtha - is a semi-solid form of petroleum. It flows out of the rock by the heating of the sun and was possibly collected for different uses since ancient times.
