More model informationThis is a plaster copy of a stubby leg-buttock fragment of an anthropomorphic figurine, made of fired clay, from Pollera Cave, in western Liguria. Even if the fragment of figurine did not come from a stratigraphic context, it can be referred to the Neolithic frequentation of the cave, dating back to about 6800 years ago. The original figurine was preserved in the former Geological Museum of the Genoa University until 1929, when the collections were reorganized and divided, and nowadays it is at Museo di Archeologia Ligure in Genoa.
This model was realised by Angelica Ramirez Castro during the Universal Civil Service (SCU) at the Genoa Univeristy.
