More model information

This is a second draft model (2.0) of the low resolution photogrammetry passes from Deep Discoverer (D2) Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) on NOAA’s Ship Okeanos Explorer. This was from NOAA Cruise EX1803, Dive 01. Model was developed by BOEM Marine Archaeologist Scott Sorset. The model features the bow section of the shipwreck.

Shipwreck is of the Tugboat New Hope that sank in 1965. This shipwreck is in approximately 800 meters of water in the Gulf of America. The BOEM Virtual Archaeology Museum can be accessed at https://www.boem.gov/Virtual-Archaeology-Museum/.
